  • Lead the development and implementation of cost accounting systems and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Conduct regular cost analyses to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare and present detailed monthly cost reports to senior management, highlighting trends, variances, and potential areas of concern.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze production data, ensuring accurate cost allocation.
  • Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing expert advice on cost-related issues.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory, including raw materials, supplies, and finished goods.
  • Utilize ERP systems to optimize cost accounting processes and improve data accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary information and addressing any issues raised.
  • Continually develop knowledge and skills in cost accounting, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is preferred.
    • 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the CPG, retail, or manufacturing sectors.
    • Experience with inventory cost analysis is preferred.
    • Proficiency in using ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
    • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and GAAP.
    • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and produce meaningful reports.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
