8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 15:00–22:00 /n/t /n/t - /n/t Call
required—no exceptions /n/t /n /n/n/nResponsibilities:/n/n /n/t -
/n/t Provide direct and indirect perioperative care for patients of
all ages (neonates to older adults) using the nursing process:
assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation /n/t /n/t -
/n/t Coordinate patient care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and
OR technicians /n/t /n/t - /n/t Guide and direct OR techs and other
personnel during procedures /n/t /n/t - /n/t Maintain professional
nursing standards and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
/n/t /n/t - /n/t Participate in performance improvement activities,
unit meetings, and in-service education /n/t /n/t - /n/t Support
patient flow and maintain unit organization /n/t /n/t - /n/t Act as
a clinical resource for colleagues as needed /n/t /n
/n/n/nRequirements:/n/n /n/t - /n/t Active RN license in New Jersey
/n/t /n/t - /n/t Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and
maintained /n/t /n/t - /n/t Current ACLS (AHA) certification within
30 days of hire and maintained /n/t /n/t - /n/t Current PALS (AHA)
certification within 30 days of hire and maintained /n/t /n/t -
/n/t Minimum one year of perioperative nursing experience or
equivalent on-the-job training /n/t /n/t - /n/t CNOR certification
preferred /n/t /n/t - /n/t BSN preferred /n/t /n/t - /n/t Pre-op
and Post-op care experience required /n/t /n/t - /n/t Must be able
