Assistant/ Associate Professor, General Neurologist Yale

Haven/Fairfield County Description The Division of General
Neurology evaluates and treats all neurological conditions. The
division includes the Yale Headache Center, which specializes in
the diagnosis and treatment of headaches, and the Yale Neurology
Resident Clinics. The Resident Clinics offer specialized care in
general neurology and stroke and include the Neurology Urgent
Access Clinic (NUAC). The goal of NUAC is to allow expedited
evaluation of patients seen in the emergency room as well as those
referred from physicians requiring an urgent assessment. A major
role of the division is to ensure patients are seen by appropriate
sub-specialists within the department. If the diagnosis is unclear
or the patient would benefit from sub-specialty care, then the
General Neurology Division will initially evaluate patients and
make internal referrals to the appropriate sub-specialists to allow
for the best possible care. We provide a highly collaborative,
supportive, and mentored environment that promotes specialists to
pursue career growth within their specific area of interest. This

Qualifications We seek motivated academic physicians with clinical
expertise in: 1) the care of adult general neurology and
subspecialty patients, 2) Participation in clinical trials, 3)
Opportunity to teach. Practice location will be in Fairfield
County. We anticipate faculty applicants to be dedicated to the
education of the next generation of subspecialty experts.
Candidates must have an MD or equivalent and be board
certified/board eligible in Neurology and have completed a
fellowship in General Neurology. Applicants must meet the criteria
for medical licensure in the State of Connecticut. Faculty rank
