Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Behavior Specialist position is available onsite at an elementary school in Hartford, CT, for the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a passion for supporting students' behavioral development within a school setting. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to elementary school students Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviors Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive behavioral outcomes and support inclusion Provide training and guidance to school staff on behavior management strategies and data collection Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data-driven decisions Qualifications: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field from an accredited institution Active Connecticut BCBA certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting is preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators and families Location: Hartford, Connecticut onsite at an elementary school Benefits: Competitive weekly pay reflecting experience and qualifications Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage Access to a 401(k) retirement savings plan to support long-term financial goals This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on childrens learning and behavior within a collaborative school environment.
