KX Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Business
Development & Key Account Manager to join our expanding Sales Team.
The Key Account & Business Development Manager's role is an
integral part of our company's business development process.--In
this role you are the lead point of contact and will serve as a
strategic partner/advisor to some of our largest customers.--You
are also responsible for expanding and diversifying our business by
discovering new B2B opportunities, initiating relationships, and
securing new project opportunities to ensure future growth.KX

DEVELOPMENT --- Responsible for developing and executing the sales
plan to achieve budgeted revenue, profitability, and goals for our
key customers.--- Establish and build brand value and brand
awareness for Marmon Water Residential Filtration products with new
and existing customers.--- Develop a solid and trusting
relationship between our largest customers and Marmon Residential
Filtration.--- Expand business with our existing customers and
develop new business through account acquisition.--- Develop and
maintain relationships with key OEM customers by phone, email, and
periodic visits.--- Conduct technical product presentations for new
and existing customers.MANAGEMENT --- Develop a complete
understanding of key account needs, anticipate any changes and
suggest improvements.--- Manage the communications between our key
accounts and internal teams ensuring we exceed customer
expectations while balancing business efficiency.--- Establish
sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales goals
for each account, projecting expected sales volume and profit for
both new and existing products.--- Manage the product development
process by working cross functionally with Engineering to
communicate our customers' technical requirements and translate
them into new products. MARKET ANALYSIS --- Continually evaluate
our customer relationships, position and competitive challenges to
recommend changes that will positively impact sales. --- Analyze
key and target account requirements and develop strategic plans
that will increase sales and market share.--- Identify resources
required (i.e. products and processes) required for business growth
and develop business plans to support the changes needed to support
that growth.--- Maintain high level of industry knowledge through
on-line research, trade publications and attending industry
tradeshows and events. ExperienceBA or BS degree in Business
Management, Sales, Marketing or relevant work experience.5+ years
of prior OEM sales, key account management or business development
experience.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
on multiple projectsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline
driven environment Prefer position located in West Haven, CT with
remote working as neededTravel throughout assigned territory (>
50%) and occasional international to visit prospects and customers,
attend trade shows and industry events.
