HumanHire has partnered with a luxury apparel company in Melville in search of a Credit Manager. This company supports many well-known, high-end brands across the country!We are seeking candidates with 5 years of managerial experience within Accounting.What they offer:Position: Credit Manager Location: Melville, NY Salary: $100,000-$105,000 per year Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9AM-5:30PM Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, 401K MatchResponsibilities:Manage, supervise, and train the credit & collections department Develop credit policies and procedures to ensure timely collections and minimize debt Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine customer creditworthiness Monitor D&B credit reports for potential risk adjustments Research and resolve outstanding balances and resolve escalated collections issues Negotiate payment plans and monitor accounts receivable aging Monitor state sales tax filing requirements and review & submit sales tax returns Maintain accurate records of all credit and collections activities and prepare reports on credit and collections performanceRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required 5 years of Accounting experience required, AR preferred 3 years of managerial experience Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite Sage, ACS, and Avalara experience preferred Strong people management skills Strong written and verbal communication skillsIf you are interested, please apply with your resume for immediate consideration and a recruiter will be in contact within 48 hours.
