As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing
the development, execution and management of commodity strategies
for Fougera. You will be instrumental in identifying, designing and
improving core processes and policies relating to Procurement and
lead deployment and management of Procurement strategies across the
company.
Your additional responsibilities include, but not limited to:
---Develop value-adding, comprehensive, future-looking commodity
strategies to support North America Strategic Sourcing (NASS)
initiatives on APIs, excipients, primary and secondary packaging as
well as support of internal manufacturing facilities and external
manufacturing.
This includes cost, quality, compliance, service, overall
performance and innovation.
---Develop and execute plans to manage business and supply
risk.
---Ensure total compliance of materials, suppliers, supply chain,
and Procurement organization.
---Provides guidance to Finance, Planning, R&D and other
functions with regard to materials and supply impacts and
opportunities.
---Employ best-in-class procurement and sourcing methodologies and
tools, commodity forecasting, and supply market management.
---Ensure supply and supplier performance continually adapts to
meets the needs of the company in innovation, inventory management
strategies, quality and compliance improvements, streamlining,
etc.
---Continually conduct external benchmarking to ensure
Sandoz/Fougera remains competitive and current in the supply
marketplace.
---Responsible for continuous management and improvement of
suppliers' and procurement
core processes across the company.
---Deliver above benchmark year-on-year savings with successful use
of competitive bidding, reverse auctions, negotiations, etc.
---Manage the Procurement resource plans and budget.
---Adhere to all applicable procedures, cGMP's, company policies,
and all other quality or regulatory requirements (OSHA, DEA, FDA,
EMEA, ANVISA, HS&E, etc.).
---Ensure all work is performed in a safe, effective manner, and in
compliance with the appropriate industry and regulatory (FDA, DEA,
OSHA) standards, and departmental, plant, and corporate quality and
Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) goals.

What you'll bring to the role:
---Requires the minimum of a Bachelor's degree
---An MBA or Master's degree is preferred
---Requires the Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in business,
supply chain, operations, engineering
or finance and a minimum of 3 years of experience in
Procurement
---Procurement certification is preferred, i.e., CPM.
---Continuous improvement or project management certification is
preferred
---Experience with multi-site manufacturing and global sourcing is
preferred
---Thorough knowledge of GMP, pharmaceutical regulatory
requirements and other relevant regulations are preferred
---Experience using MS Excel, Powerpoint, Documentum databases is
required
This opportunity is located at the Sandoz Melville, NY site, and
will not have the ability to be located remotely. Preference will
be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is
expected to be between $102,400 and $153,600/year; however, while
salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23,
fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay
ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will
depend on various factors, including, but not limited to
geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and
abilities. The total compensation package for this position may
also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted
stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range
of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k)
eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation,
sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if
an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee
will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right
to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment
or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related
to individual performance, Company or individual department/team
performance, and market factors.
