About the role
The Associate Product Manager will provide support of up to three
product lines and managers. This role executes tactical steps in
new product launch activities, conducts sustaining product tasks in
support of Product Manager(s) and provides basic technical support
of sales. This position will also serve as the internal and
external expert for assigned products, occasionally working with
the sales channel and key customers to promote Leviton and its
associated product solutions. This role will also work with
manufacturing and suppliers to facilitate solutions issues for
assigned products.
Hybrid: four days in office, one day remote.
Responsibilities
Conduct market, technology, and competitive assessments
Assist with establishing product vision: defining the product
roadmap, and what additional products or product enhancements are
needed
Examine and analyze product line performance such as profitability,
forecasting and inventory levels etc. and provide recommendations
to management
Develop of Business Proposals
Capable of managing all applicable deliverables for Phase/Gate
product development process
Assist with establishing product pricing and assessing product
costs and gross margins
Coordinate product launches
Recommend marketing materials and assist with their development
Create product forecasts and coordinate to establish appropriate
inventory levels with Operations
Coordinate support function activities to sustain product line,
including packaging, pricing, manufacturing, inventory and
marketing
Support of Sales channels as needed to make assigned product lines
successful
Assist in the development of appropriate training materials for the
value chain
Manage all web related activities for assigned product lines
Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor/Director
Act as the technical "go-to" person for assigned product lines
Qualifications
Strong communication skills - verbal, written, presentation
Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with customers that
lead to the sale of assigned products
Ability to organize and manage "ad-hoc" teams to support the
development of business opportunities
Acumen in executing business decisions
Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals,
professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental
regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure
manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
from groups of managers, employees, and the general public
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete
variables in situations where only limited standardization
exists
Ability to work in a highly confidential work environment; and the
ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Strong mathematically, analytical and computer skills
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or
related technical/business field. Engineering degree highly
preferred

Pay Range
Pay: $64,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
