Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Packaging Development Manager for their R & D facility in New Jersey.This job will have the following responsibilities:Lead, coach, and manage a team of three (3) engineers including Junior Packaging Design Engineers and a Packaging Development ManagerCollaborate with cross functional teams within R&D, manufacturing, and marketing/corporateEstablish and validate all testing processes and criteria to ensure successConduct and validate all aesthetic developmentsEstablish, approve, and maintain quality standardsOccasional travel (less than 10% per year) to corporate offices
Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or University within Packaging Engineering a strong preference6+ years' direct experience within cosmetics, or personal care consumer packaged goods manufacturingStrong background leading cross functional teamsExtensive experience working with cross functional teams within engineering and manufacturing unitsStrong leadership ability who inspires the best from their teams (leading from example)Ability to work within a Hybrid position (3 days in the office/2 days from home per week)
