Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Production Manager/Shift Manager in South Boston for a Food Manufacturing company on 2nd shift from 1pm to 10pmRelocation is provided to the area.This job will have the following responsibilities:Conduct production area walk-throughs, investigate problem areas, identify causes, and ensure policy conformance.Maintain an inspection-ready plant at all times.Oversee Warehouse FIFO practice and cleanliness standards.Address and respond to new product review (PPR) questions.Lead and guide managers and staff to exceed performance metrics in areas like safety, quality, customer service, cost management, inventory, and production.Analyze key metrics of plant operations, create reports, and develop actionable recommendations.Coordinate, control, and schedule production to meet sales and marketing demand levels.Develop policies and procedures to eliminate downtime and enhance plant efficiencies.Ensure all departments perform within budgeted operating standards.Resolve variances, such as production reporting, ingredient usage, and labor utilization.Manage vendor issues and resolve customer complaints to meet product specifications and expectations.Requirements/Skills:Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of food manufacturing experience, including managerial experience OR Associate degree and 10 years of food manufacturing experience, including managerial experience.Background in quality, engineering, or production within the food manufacturing industry.Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.General knowledge of process equipment and regulatory compliance.Proficiency in writing, mathematics, analytical thinking, and critical thinking.Basic accounting knowledge.Computer literate with proficiency in spreadsheet and word applications.If interested please apply below or send a updated resume to SGoudy judge.comhttps://www.judge.com/jobs/details/1013736/UI 1013736
