SUMMARYFamily Service League is seeking a full-time Assistant
Program Director for a Mental Health Clinic in Riverhead. The
Assistant Program Director will work closely with the Program
Director by providing administrative and clinical oversight of the
day-to-day operations of a Certified Community Behavioral Health

- Assist the Program Director in providing administrative and
clinical oversight of the day-to-day operations of the clinic and
clinic staff.
- The Assistant Program Director will lead weekly team meetings
and individual or group supervision to clinic staff and interns as
needed. Act as backup for any clinic cases.
- Provide direct supervision to clinic supervisor(s).
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure appropriate provision
of medical services and storage of medications.
- The Assistant Program Director will provide annual performance
evaluations for clinic staff.
- Work with the Program Director and other agency departments
regarding the recruitment, hiring, and disciplinary action of
employees.
- Ensure compliance with all NY-OMH and CCBHC regulations and
standards of care including reporting, tracking and review of
significant incidents through the NIMRS system; chart
review/utilization review; monitoring of high-risk cases.
- The Assistant Program Director will assist in reviewing all
referrals and coordination with priority referral sources.
Coordinate an open access process for referral.
- Attend other scheduled meetings and trainings as requested.
This may include off-site meetings.
- Maintain licensure in a relevant clinical field.
- All other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree in
social work or related field required. LMSW or LCSW preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience required. Minimum of 3
years of prior supervisory experience working in a mental health
clinic setting, including serving clients with co-occurring
disorders required. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written
communications skills required. Proficient computer skills,
including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR),
required. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
