Job Description:
Network(s): Artistic Administration; General, Executive, &
Artistic DirectorsDESCRIPTIONCore Responsibilities: Reporting to
General Manager, Liz Uchtman, and Festival Producer, Julia Mendes,
the Box Office Manager shall:Manage all ticket sale operations
across presenting venues using our CRM system, Cue Box, including
creation and implementation of ticketed performance series (e.g.,
seating chart builds, tiered ticket pricing assignments,
etc.).Undertake relevant CRM training and development as
required.Oversee and fulfill all seat holds related to company
comps, press/industry lists, VIPs, and development holds.Manage the
box office and sell tickets in person at venues as needed, as well
as via phone and email.Respond promptly to all ticketing inquiries
and messages.Oversee all ticket exchanges in the months leading up
to and during the Festival.Attend daily morning production
check-ins (virtually) during the Festival and deliver daily box
office reports to the Festival Director and staff.With General
Manager, liaise with Cue Box Support to develop reports and
implement platform changes as needed to support PROTOTYPE's
operational objectives.Serve and shape the Festival's customer care
policy, ensuring a warm and professional welcome for
patrons.Preferred Qualifications:Must have experience with
ticketing systems (Cue Box preferred, but training is
possible)Minimum 2-3 years of box office experienceDesire to play a
critical role in a small and dynamic teamExcellent interpersonal
skills and ability to work both individually and as part of a
teamExcellent oral and written communication skills and highly
detail-orientedAbility to work flexible hours, including nights and
weekends during the festival periodTerm: September 1, 2025 -
January 23, 2026Festival Dates: January 7-18, 2026Part time with
flexible hours from September through December with workload
gradually increasing throughout the termFull-time commitment
