Job Description:

We are seeing a highly experienced only, dental assistant with knowledge & experience in periodontal treatment/therapy for our Southampton office. Travel to this office is a must, serious inquiries only!! This candidate must have at least 5 or more years experience and knows all periodontal surgeries, can take good x-rays, attention to detail and the needs of the office. In this position you will play a vital role in assisting the doctor to ensure the highest qualities of patient care.Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment room and instruments- Proficiency in taking dental x-rays (Dexis)- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform patient assessment, including taking vital signs and medical history- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure aseptic technique is followed- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy- Maintain accurate patient recordsRequirements:- Previous experience/knowledge of periodontal surgeries is a must- Proficient in using dental software- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with other staff members- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionalsDays/Hours are as is: (Hours change for the summer)Monday 8:30am - 5pm, 1hr lunchTuesday 8:30-5pm, 1hr lunchThursday 8:30am - 5pm, 1hr lunchGas Travel Bonus is providedJob Type: Part-timePay: $30.00 per hourExpected hours: 25 per weekBenefits:* Travel reimbursementSchedule:* Day shiftExperience:* Dental: 5 years (Required)Ability to Commute:* Southampton, NY 11968 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Southampton, NY 11968: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
