Job Description:

This amazing team is seeking a dedicated and compassionate *Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) *to join their Outpatient Office in Southampton, NY. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a private practice setting. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, to ensure the best possible outcomes for their pediatric patients.*Key Responsibilities:** Prepare patients for examinations by gathering necessary medical information and conducting initial assessments (height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature).* Document patient visit reasons and relevant clinical data in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.* Perform and assist with diagnostic tests, including hearing and vision screenings, spirometry, and EKGs.* Administer vaccines and medications as prescribed by the physician.* Assist with special procedures and collect lab specimens as needed.* Obtain and review external lab results, ensuring they are appropriately documented.* Provide patient education on treatments, medications, and preventive care.* Maintain a well-organized and fully stocked medical supply inventory.* Uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.* Perform additional tasks and duties as directed by the physician.*Qualifications:** Current and valid New York State LPN License.* A minimum of one year of professional nursing experience.* CPR/AED certification.* Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.* Strong communication, decision-making, leadership, and problem-solving skills.* Supervisory experience is a plus but not required.*Salary and Benefits:** Hourly Rate: $26.98 - $33.69, depending on experience.* Paid Time Off* 401k with 6% employer match.* One week of CME (Continuing Medical Education) time allowance.* Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance.* Short-term disability coverage.Job Type: Full-timePay: $26.98 - $33.69 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Continuing education credits* Dental insurance* Disability insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceMedical Specialty:* PediatricsPhysical Setting:* OutpatientLicense/Certification:* LPN (Required)Ability to Commute:* Southampton, NY (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
