Description Job Schedule: Full Time Standard Hours: 40 Job Shift: Shift 3 Shift Details: This is a full-time night shift position (11p-7:30a) with every other weekend and some holidays required. Job Summary: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• Perform initial and on-going bio-psychosocial assessments
• Participate in treatment team conferences
• Implement nursing plan of care and conduct group therapy sessions
• Evaluate patient's response to interventions and revise nursing plan of care as needed
• Provide direct patient care according to physician's order
• Evaluate and recognize changes in patients' physical and psychosocial status
• Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to behavioral health patients Qualifications
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health
  • Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Associate's Degree required, Bachelor Degree preferred
  • Experience in an acute care psychiatric setting preferred
  • Evidence of leadership ability
