Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in North Bergen NJ. Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 5x8: 7:30am - 4pm. /n - Explain ultrasound procedures to patients, answer questions, and provide support throughout the process. /n /n - Operate, program, and adjust ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images from all necessary angles. /n /n - Evaluate and select images to present to physicians, assisting in diagnosis and treatment planning. /n /n - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure equipment and procedure rooms are properly cleaned and sterilized. /n /n /n /n /n - /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program. /n /n - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). /n /n - 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technician in a hospital setting required. /n /n - BLS certification from the American Heart Association required. /n /n - ARRT certification preferred. /n /n /n/nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
