Job Description:
Join the compassionate team at Tender Touch Rehab Services as a
Physical Therapist Assistant, where we provide personalized
rehabilitation therapy services to various healthcare facilities.
In this role, you will support professional physical therapists in
delivering effective treatments designed to meet the unique
recovery needs of each patient. Our goal is to enhance patient care
by facilitating quicker recovery and greater overall health. Assist
physical therapists in the implementation of treatment plans for
patients. Perform routine tasks under the supervision of a
registered physical therapist. Help patients perform specific
exercises as part of the plan of care. Treat patients using a
variety of techniques, such as massage and stretching. Observe
patients before, during, and after therapy, noting their status and
reporting it to a physical therapist. Help patients with their
mobility devices and other equipment, teaching them how to use them
effectively. Maintain patient confidentiality and records. Educate
patients and their families about what to expect from the recovery
process and how they can facilitate it. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Detail-oriented with substantial knowledge of
therapy practices and equipment. Ability to follow written and
verbal instructions from physical therapists. Capacity to handle
physical work and lift patients as needed. Skill in providing
direct patient care in a safe and effective manner. 401k Valid
state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). CPR and
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
