We are looking for a professional who can dispense medications accurately, provide excellent pharmaceutical care, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Medication Dispensing: Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients. - Patient Counseling: Provide detailed counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions. - Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations. - Controlled Substances Management: Maintain accurate records and manage controlled substances responsibly. - Staff Training: Oversee and train pharmacy staff to ensure adherence to best practices. - Collaborative Care: Work with healthcare providers to manage and improve patient care. - Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock. - Insurance Processing: Handle insurance claims processing and reimbursement efficiently. - Customer Service: Address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns professionally. Job Requirements: - Must Have: A valid state required pharmacist license - Must Have: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution. - Preferred: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting. Skills: - Strong knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations. - Proficiency with pharmacy management software systems. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM). - Experience with inventory management and cost-saving measures. - Proven track record of effectively managing a pharmacy team.
