Job Description Job Description /n Prepares patients for
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) treatments. Assists clinical staff
with patient examination and treatment, documents patient care
records. Operates and cleans Hyperbaric Chamber and documents
equipment maintenance. /n Job Responsibility /n /n /n - Prepares
patients for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) treatments and
documents treatments in patient care record. /n - Operates the
hyperbaric chamber according to manufacturer guidelines and
established regulations. /n - Takes and records vital signs and/or
growth measurements; draws blood; administers EKGs and assists
clinical staff with examination and treatment as needed. /n -
Cleans HBO chambers and maintains the orderliness and cleanliness
of treatment rooms. /n - Performs Transcutaneous Oxygen Monitoring;
monitors vital signs and patient response during HBO treatments. /n
- Participates in patient education as it relates to hyperbaric
therapy. /n - Participates in quality assurance programs and
supports clinical hyperbaric facility accreditation. /n - Maintains
daily and periodic equipment maintenance documentation. /n -
Transports patients to and from the department. /n - Performs
related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are

are not essential functions. /n /n Job Qualification /n /n /n -
High School Diploma or equivalent required. /n - Current Hyperbaric
Technician (NBDHMT) Certification required, and Current Basic Life
Support Professional Certification required, plus specialized
certifications as needed. /n - 1-3 years of technical experience,
