Barton Associates to find a qualified Geriatrics NP in New York! We
are seeking a Geriatrics Nurse Practitioner for a 20-day locum
tenens assignment in New York. The assignment begins on Jan 23,
2026, and features 7a-7p inpatient day shifts, with a minimum
commitment of 2-3 days per week. Ideal candidates will have at
least 2-3 years of inpatient geriatric or hospital medicine
experience, as hospice or nursing home experience alone will not be
considered sufficient. Job Details Location: New York Start Date:
Jan 23, 2026 LOA: 20 days Provider Type Needed: Geriatrics Nurse
Practitioner Schedule: 7a-7p; minimum of 2-3 days per week;
specific dates required; no weekend start Responsibilities and
Duties Perform inpatient geriatric consults and manage elderly
patients in the hospital setting Collaborate with interdisciplinary
teams to develop and implement care plans Assess, diagnose, and
treat acute and chronic conditions in geriatric patients Document
clinical findings and patient progress in the medical record
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare
staff Additional Information Must have active licensure in at least
one of the following states: CT, MA, NJ, NY, PA Minimum of 2-3
years of inpatient geriatric or hospital medicine experience
required Hospice or nursing home experience alone will not meet
