In this role, you will leverage your advanced nursing skills to provide critical care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the cardiac catheterization lab. Monitor patients’ conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. Prepare patients for procedures, assist cardiologists during catheterizations, and manage post-procedure care. Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to plan, manage, and assess treatment plans. Maintain detailed records of patient care, condition, progress, and concerns. Respond to emergency situations based on standard protocols. Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and health maintenance. Advanced knowledge of cardiology and cardiac care practices. Proficiency in using cath lab equipment effectively and safely. Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Certification as a Cardiac Vascular Nurse (RN-BC) or similar is highly preferred.
