Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position in New Jersey requiring STEMI on-call and Epic EMR proficiency. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization Lab - Patient population spans from pediatric to geriatric requiring cardiac cath procedures - 4-day workweek with 9.5-hour shifts from 7AM to 5PM - STEMI on-call responsibilities are required - Epic EMR is used in this unit - May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital - Performs thorough patient assessments and delivers appropriate care across the lifespan - Provides perioperative and postoperative patient education and assessment - Maintains complete and accurate documentation in compliance with facility standards - Demonstrates professionalism and maintains patient confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines - Follows National Patient Safety Goals and universal protocol for patient identification - Must adhere to facility dress code for the Cardiac Cath Lab - Assignments are limited to one calendar year; a 30-60 day break is required before a new assignment Requirements - Active NJ or compact RN license - Minimum 2 years of recent critical care experience - Current BLS and ACLS certifications - Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Associate's degree required; BSN preferred - Proficient in English (spoken, read, written) - Experience with Epic EMR required - Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-666992.
