Job Description Job Description Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET/CT) – Contract Assignment Location: New York, NY 10029 Pay Rate: $82 – $85 per hour Assignment Type: Short-Term Union Contract Schedule Shift: Day Shift Hours: 8-hour shifts Days: Monday – Friday Weekly Hours: 37.5 – 40 hours Shift Options (Union Schedule): 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM Position Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist with PET/CT expertise to join a dynamic imaging team for a union-based contract assignment. This role is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic and molecular imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and strict adherence to regulatory and radiation safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform PET/CT imaging procedures using Siemens Biograph Vision PET/CT equipment Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols Ensure accurate patient positioning and optimal imaging techniques Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to adverse reactions Maintain detailed documentation and imaging records Adhere to radiation safety and infection control policies Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal imaging outcomes Required Qualifications Certifications: ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB certification Post-secondary certification in Computed Tomography (CT) ARRT-R not required Licensure: Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License Additional Requirements: BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
