Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in school settings is
needed for a K-12 educational environment serving students aged
12-21. This is a leave contract position located in Jamaica, NY,
offering part-time hours primarily from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.,
Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities: Provide IEP-mandated
speech-language services to students. Deliver both direct and
indirect therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs.
Collaborate with educators and families to support student
communication goals. Maintain accurate records and progress notes
in compliance with school policies. Qualifications: Masters Degree
in Speech Language Pathology. Active New York State SLP License and
valid Teaching Certification. Experience working in schools with
pediatric populations (ages 12-21) preferred. Knowledge of
teletherapy modalities is advantageous. Certification of Clinical
Competence (CCC) and Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship
Year (CFY) completion are beneficial. Position Details: Start Date:
March 1, 2026 End Date: June 1, 2026 Hours: 25-30 hours per week,
