Job Description Pharmacist – Acute Inpatient Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373 Start Date: February 25, 2026 Positions Available: 2 Role Overview The Pharmacist will provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services in an acute care setting, supporting Emergency Department and psychiatric units. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, experience in hospital pharmacy operations, and proficiency with EPIC or similar EHR systems. Schedule & Hours Hours per Week: 37.5 Hours per Day: 7.5 Days per Week: 5 Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM Weekend Requirement: Every weekend (two consecutive days off: Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday) Training: Two weeks, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes EPIC training) Practice Setting Acute inpatient hospital environment Coverage includes Emergency Department and Psychiatry Qualifications Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience Active NYSED Pharmacist license (required) Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (required) Compensation Travel Rates: $102.71/hour ($3,594.96 per week) $105.71/hour ($3,699.96 per week) Local Rate: $90–$92 per hour Pride Health offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
