Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center, renowned for its commitment to personalized rehabilitation and skilled nursing care, is seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our vibrant healthcare team. The CMA at Pine Acres will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and contribute to the comfortable, compassionate environment we promise our community. Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician or registered nurse Perform routine patient assessments such as measuring vital signs and administering prescribed medication Facilitate communication between patients and registered healthcare professionals at Pine Acres Maintain accurate patient records and update healthcare and medication charts Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician Ensure that all healthcare regulations and safety standards are met Assist with patient rehabilitation and recovery routines Educate patients and their families on wellness, prevention, and early detection by providing materials and resources Proficiency in clinical techniques and the ability to implement them effectively Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
