Job Description:

Jersey Shore Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. This role involves assisting patients with daily activities, providing basic care, and supporting the broader medical team. Your role is central in helping patients achieve effective recovery and improve their quality of life, adhering to personalized healthcare plans designed by our team of health professionals. Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, or changing linens Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed by medical or nursing staff Gather information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition, treatment plans, or appropriate activities Observe or examine patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention, such as bruises, open wounds, or blood in urine Document or otherwise report observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong observational skills Ability to follow set rules and protocol Capability to perform physically demanding tasks Basic understanding of patient care and hygiene standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid CNA certification CPR certified preferred
