Job Description:
Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center is seeking a
dedicated and compassionate Unit Manager to lead our dynamic team
in delivering exceptional rehabilitation services and long-term
care to our patients. As a Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily
operations of a nursing unit, ensuring that high standards of care
are maintained and that patient wellness goals are effectively met.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess patient
needs, plan and implement comprehensive care plans, and enhance the
overall quality and efficiency of care provided at our center.
Manage the nursing unit operations on a day-to-day basis. Supervise
and mentor nursing and support staff. Ensure compliance with all
local, state, and federal regulations and healthcare standards.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals to assess, plan,
implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Monitor patient care for
quality. Handle patient complaints and incidents, including the
investigation of accidents. Prepare reports and manage the unit's
budget. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of
healthcare regulations and safety standards. Ability to handle
high-stress situations calmly and effectively. Proficient in using
healthcare management and patient care software. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid RN license in the state of
practice. BLS Certification required. Previous managerial
experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
