Prepare monthly technologist schedules (Nuclear) to coordinate with
current hours of operations to maximize workflow - including
vacations, Timecard issues, and related coverage - Communicate
daily department staffing to front desk scheduling coordinator and
site manager regarding issues/adjustments - Collaborating with the
Site Managers, the Chief Technologist directs the performance of
their assigned technologists and is responsible for the efficiency,
productivity and quality performed by assigned technologists -
Works in collaboration with multiple staff (Technologists,
Radiologists, Nursing, office managers and Radiology leadership) -
The goal to optimize patient flow and influence patient and staff
satisfaction - Oversees the departments inventory, procurement and
maintenance of supplies, equipment, and parts - Reviews and updates
technical procedures - Assists in the quality assurance program -
Coordinates and schedules the department's monthly meetings and
in-service education - Oversees the maintenance and cleanliness of
radiology equipment - Delegate duties to other technologists in
relevant modality as appropriate - Evaluate and monitor patient
dose exposure / badge reports. Reviewing with RSO - Monitor QA/QC
and ensuring all books kept up to date - Conduct performance
evaluations, coaching and counseling on department staff as
required - Direct and support employees daily work activities and
recommend the following employee actions: Hiring, corrective action
and performance reviews - Monitor and approve time cards and mange
PTO requests - Work with radiologist to ensure the most appropriate
protocols are loaded for the best clinical outcome while being
conscious of patient volume throughput - Organize staff meetings
with technologists at your center to educate and grow the team. In
addition, conduct one-on-one meeting with staff to discuss any
issues - Oversee pharmaceutical orders - Perform clinical exams as
needed in chosen modality - Assist Nuclear Radiologist in
development of clinical protocols for use within the entire
practiceLead contact in the preparation and submission of all ACR
accreditations in chosen modalities - Independently resolve issues
and coordinate appropriate departmental resources (clerical,
vendor, clinical) when needed to facilitate workflow. Follow up as
needed - Overseeing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine Technologists
in departmen - Maintain daily contact with clinical
supervisors/managers - Assess and evaluate MR team, yearly
evaluations/reviews and site assessments - Inform Manager on a
daily basis of all departmental activities needing supervisory
action - Maintain strictest confidentiality in all aspects -
Perform other related duties assigned as necessary Optum NY/NJ was

you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: - IV
Certification - Dually certified (Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT
including CT registry) - ARRT certification/licensure - Knowledge
of standard policies, procedures and protocols to supervise the
department directly - Knowledge of radiology standards specifically
Nuclear and Pet/CT to evaluate work of technologists - Skill in
developing and maintaining department quality assurance - Skill in
identifying and resolving problems - Proven ability to communicate
clearly and professionally to all staff and physicians - Proven
excellent organizational skills and ability to function
independently in all administrative aspects of the standard
office-operating environment (typing, WORD, EXCEL etc.) - Proven
ability to maintain a well-organized, clear, "thinking" approach to
all systems Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in health
care administration, public health, business administration, or
related degree - 3 years of experience as a technologist with 3
years supervisory Core customers and key relationships - Patients -
Patients Families and Friends - Physicians and Other Medical Staff

experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we

salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually
