We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to help in our mission of providing top notch dental services to our Union members. Please note we are recruiting for our Queens Location. Duties and responsibilities - Perform patient oral inspection and complete dental charting. - Perform appropriate dental procedure on patient. - Educate patient on methods to control oral disease. - Reassures patients as needed. - Compile information for the dentist or specialist for patient diagnosis and treatment plan. - Participates in the quality assurance/risk management committee meetings, as requested. - Performs other duties as assigned. Education and experience: - Associate’ degree. - New York state license in dental hygiene - Current BCLS certification. - Prior experience in a dental office or in a health care setting.
