Job Description Nocturnist Opening in Brattleboro, VT ~ 1 hour to Springfield MA~ 80 miles to Manchester NH~ J1 Visa sponsorship availableSeeking a qualified Nocturnist to join a dedicated healthcare team, working 12-14 shifts per month (12-hour shifts). Responsibilities include overseeing an open intermediate care/step-down unit, managing 2-6 admissions each night, and handling temporary ventilator management. Specialty support includes surgeons for central line insertions, respiratory therapists, Emergency Medicine physicians, and CRNAs. J1-Visa candidates are welcome to apply. Position Requirements - Board-certified preferred; board-eligible and recent graduates considered. - 2-3 years' experience as a Hospitalist or Nocturnist preferred - Vent management experience required. - Experience in rural health settings is a plus. - Proficiency in running codes. - Vermont medical license preferred; licensure assistance available. - Vermont DEA. - BLS and ACLS certifications.This is an ideal opportunity for Nocturnists interested in a supportive rural health environment with a collaborative team approach.
