Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Home Health RN in Hicksville, New York, 11801! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience:
Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year
Hospice experience depending on the specialty License: Must have
valid nursing license Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Recent
specialty experience Description: Provides coordinated and directed
home nursing care according to physician’s orders. Uses agency
policies and procedures through the competent application of the
nursing process. Responsible to the Clinical Manager. Directly
supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical
Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Requires reliable transportation
and a current driver’s license. Must have agency-required liability
insurance. Average number of patients per day is 5-8. Contractor
will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly
6-8 points. No guaranteed hours; however, options are available to
float to nearby clinics if needed. Types of cases include Start of
Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits. First-timers are not
accepted; recent specialty experience is necessary. Weekend
requirements vary; discuss specifics during the interview. On-call
requirements vary and should be addressed in the interview. Must be
willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic. Mileage
reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Local candidates are accepted
at the same rate. Pending licenses are not accepted; a valid
license is required. All candidates must be proficient in HomeCare
HomeBase (HCHB) and Oasis. Documentation must be completed within
24 hours of the appointment. All documentation affecting billing
and follow-up care must be timely and complete. Accepting all
assigned patients, regardless of distance between appointments, is
expected. Weekly productivity points of 30 are required, equating
