stores... CATERING MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION Summary The Catering
Manager is responsible for supervising the department team and
ensuring a successful catering operation. Responsibilities Directs
and supervises catering logistics Receives orders from customers
via in person or phone conversation, confirming all food items are
double checked for accuracy Ensures that all proposals, contacts,
menus, correspondence and reports are completed according to Uncle
Giuseppe's procedures Event planning and menu design Booking
outside vendors for items such as equipment rentals, wait staff and
other resources needed for each event Will be responsible for
processing online orders Ensuring payments are received Coordinate
pick-up and delivery schedule Assist catering manager with clerical
needs Assist in setting up and managing in store demonstrations
Will assist with deliveries of catered ordered and events as needed
Respond to customer complaints immediately or in a timely fashion
Develop relationships with customers Process weekly gratuities
Other duties and functions as assigned Requirements -- HS Diploma
or equivalent -- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience working in a
management position in catering, event planning and event
management -- Must be proficient with relevant computer programs
and operations including MS Office Suite -- Must be familiar with
food and beverage cost controls Highly organized with the ability
to work under pressure Able to multi-task in a very fast paced
environment and delegate tasks as needed Highly motivated to learn
and not afraid to make quick decisions During the high season,
extended hours, weekends, nights, and holidays ASSISTANT CATERING
MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION Summary Detailed, organized, and the
ability to work under pressure are some of the key functions of the
Assistant Catering Manager position. This individual must be well
balanced at multitasking and delegating, in addition to being
motivated to increase their knowledge in the specialty. During the
high season, extended hours, weekends, nights, and holidays are
required. Responsibilities Take orders from customers either in
person or over the phones, ensuring that the correct amount of food
is ordered. Always with a smile! Event planning and menu design
Schedule outside vendors for items such as equipment rentals, wait
staff and other resources as needed Process online orders, collect
and process payments received Coordinate pick-up and delivery
schedule Assist catering manager with clerical needs Assist in
setting up and managing in store demos As needed, will assist with
deliveries of catered ordered and events Respond in a timely
fashion to all customer complaints Cultivate and develop
relationships with our customers process weekly gratuities Other
