Narendran LLP is a full-service law firm seeking a reliable,
detail-oriented Senior Real Estate Paralegal with 5 years of
experience to join our team. The paralegal will provide assistance
to attorneys in the Real Estate Department in all stages of real
estate transactions from pre- to post-closing duties. Strong
organizational skills along with the ability to take ownership of
projects are essential. The candidate must be able to multi-task
and prioritize as well as have strong client service skills.
Requirements: HOURS : 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (in person) DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES : · Act as liaison with various title companies ·
Review and summarize title commitments · Prepare UCC fixture
filings and UCC financing statements · Draft closing statements ·
Assist with review of property surveys · Assist attorney with
preparation of transactional, loan, and modification documents,
including preparation of deeds, transfer tax returns, settlement
statements, etc. · Assist attorney with closings and coordinate
execution of documentation · Coordinate documents, and follow up
with title companies as appropriate to ensure documents are
recorded in a timely fashion · Prepare and distribute closing
binders · Follow through with title companies to ensure issuance of
final title policy · Distribute recorded documents and title
policies to clients · Create and maintain checklist showing status
of recorded documents or documents waiting to be recorded and
periodically update attorneys regarding status · Follow up on
post-closing items · Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS &
PRIOR EXPERIENCE : · Minimum of 5 years of real estate paralegal
experience within a law firm · Bachelor's degree required;
paralegal certificate a plus · Proficiency in Microsoft Word,
Excel, and Outlook required · Knowledge of ACRIS required · Notary
