TransForce, a leader in CDL staffing and compliance services, is seeking dedicated and safety-conscious Local/Regional CDL A Drivers to join our team. As a pivotal part of our operations, you will help us continue to deliver top-grade transportation solutions and maintain our reputation for safety and reliability. Our drivers are more than just operators; they are the ambassadors of our business, fostering our commitment to efficiency and exceptional service on the road. Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to transport goods and materials over local or regional routes as assigned. Comply with all DOT regulations and safety standards while driving and reporting any incidents or safety concerns. Manage route schedules and communicate effectively with dispatch personnel to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to assure a safe vehicle and to comply with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair statuses, following applicable state and federal regulations. Assist in loading and unloading cargo and ensure that cargo is secured properly compliant with safety requirements. Proven ability to operate a tractor-trailer or heavy truck efficiently. Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and truck maintenance. Excellent time management and navigation skills. Ability to maintain calm under pressure and adapt to unforeseen road conditions. Strong communication skills and professionalism. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A). A clean driving record. DOT medical card. Preferably certified in Transportation of Hazardous Materials, though not mandatory depending upon the the assignment.
