Job Description:

TransForce, a premier provider of CDL staffing and compliance services, is currently seeking a qualified CDL B Flatbed Driver. As an integral member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods using flatbed trucks, adhering strictly to safety regulations and client requirements. With a focus on reliability and efficiency, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation as a leader in the transportation field, connecting quality drivers with top-tier clients. Safely operate a flatbed truck and transport goods as per scheduled routes and timelines. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues or discrepancies. Secure cargo properly using straps and other safety devices to prevent damage during transportation. Maintain accurate logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics staff to update on progress and manage any delivery issues that arise. Assist in loading and unloading cargo when necessary while adhering to safety guidelines. Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, and adhere to all safety protocols and transportation laws. Strong driving record with proficiency in operating flatbed vehicles. Knowledge of road safety regulations and cargo securement protocols. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Effective communication and coordination skills. Basic maintenance knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL B driver’s license. Current DOT medical card. Flatbed-specific endorsements or certifications are highly preferred.
