Job Description:

POSITION PURPOSE: Cleans and maintains the facility(s) and equipment in accordance with cGMP standards and any SOPs that impact specific areas.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains the cleanliness of the entire facility, including the warehouse. Cleans production equipment, filters, etc, as required. Maintains the cleanliness of the outside grounds and facility as required. Removes snow from designated areas as required. Performs tasks according to cGMP s and the Master Sanitation Schedule SOP. Uses cleaning chemicals safely and according to manufactures guidelines. Distributes cleaning chemicals as necessary. Completes additional tasks and projects as assigned by management. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum: High School Diploma, GED or Technical School Diploma.JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Understands cleaning chemicals and what their used for. Able to lift up to 55 lbs occasionally. Ability to work with all levels of employees in a productive manner. Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: NoneTRAINING REQUIREMENTS: On going cGMP training to stay current with all areas required by the company. Cleaning chemical training.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Regularly required to stand, stoop, push, pull, reach, bend and walk. Regularly required to move arms and body in order to perform cleaning tasks, ie vacuuming, floor cleaning, window washing, etc. May be required to use a pallet jack. Moderate to heavy physical effort required.PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Safety Glasses when on the production floor. Gloves as required. Dust masks as needed/required. Uniforms as required. Any other PPE as required/recommended. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Works in a manufacturing facility with moderate noise. Works in an environment with many different aromas.OTHER: Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
