HumanHire has partnered with a privately owned medical equipment distributor in Melville to help find a Certified Orthotic Fitter as they are looking to add to the team!What's in it for you?Location: Melville, NYPay: $45,000-$55,000/based on experience + commission!Schedule: Monday - Friday / 9 AM - 5 PMEnvironment: Fast-paced, professional corporate office, management collaboration, team-orientedResponsibilities:Specialize in fitting specific prefabricated and off-the-shelf orthoses with minor modificationsYou will contribute to branch success by increasing sales, managing referral relationships, and ensuring quality customer serviceBuild rapport, support, reassure, and educate them throughout interactionsCollaborate with orthotic practitioners to evaluate patient needs and meet physician prescriptionsPerform fittings, make necessary adjustments, and instruct patients in device usageEnsure patient satisfaction with devices, maintain equipment, and adhere to legal regulations, including insurance and qualification verificationQualifications:Must have active, valid Orthotics Fitting certification (ABC or BOC)Computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Office, patient care including treatment and documentationPrevious experience as a fitter or in a similar role*Vaccination not required!*If interested, please apply to this posting for with your resume and a recruiter will reach out within 48 hours!If interested, please apply to this posting for with your resume and a recruiter will reach out within 48 hours!If you're interested in a confidential conversation about your job search, please apply with your resume & a recruiter will contact you within 24 hours.
