Join the Berry Global team as a Coating Operator on the day or night shift in Riverhead, NY. As a Coating Operator, you will safely operate the assigned section(s) of the Coater Machine to efficiently produce specialty tapes for use in transportation, energy, and medical applications.

About the shifts [Day & Night]




Day Shift - 7:00 am - 7:00 pm


Night Shift - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am


[Both day and night shift]

Cycle Schedule - Rotating 2-week schedule



Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday (48 Hours)


Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (36 Hours)






Qualifications




Strong verbal and written English communication skills


A high school diploma is preferred but not required


Schedules are subject to change based on business needs (or demand)


Ability to stand and walk on concrete for at least 8 hours per day. Some lifting, climbing, pushing, and pulling are also required


Safely perform all tasks, wearing required PPE and following all safety regulations. All safety equipment is provided


Ability to use small hand tools and operate a forklift or rider truck




Responsibilities




Adhere to all safety rules and regulations


Ability to operate and set up the coater without supervision


Understand and follow the operating procedures for each job


Ensure all static and environmental-related issues are in place and in order


Adhere to all specifications and schedules
