A growing manufacturer in Yaphank, New York, specializing in the
production of high-quality industrial packaging machinery. We are
seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Assembler perferrably with
mechanical assembly experience. If you are interested in
penetrating this new and exciting industry and have mechanical
experience as a car/deisel mechanic - the hiring manager would be
highly interested in training you! If you have experience as a
Set-up Mechanic with-in a production environment. This opportunity
will be great as a stepping stone where you will be gaining a great
amount of knowledge and skill to quickly grow your career! If you

Responsibilities
Read and interpret assembly instructions and blueprints.
Assemble components accurately and efficiently using hand and power
tools.
Inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet quality
standards.
Identify and report any defects or issues with components or
finished products.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production
goals.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe
working environment
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 35lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working weekends
