Location: Melville, NY
Schedule:M-F Day Shift, 7:30 am - 4:15 pm
Hourly: $15.00-$26.00
Assemble and wire difficult and complex electronic assemblies. Works under the limited supervision of the senior manufacturing staff.
Responsibilities

• 
  Wiring, solder and assemble operations required in the construction of complex electronic equipment.
  
  
• 
  Read and interpret wiring diagrams. Work from models, schematics, wiring diagrams, pictorials, or breakdown sheets such as wire run lists and operational sheets. Use personal judgment to resolve problems.
  
  
• 
  Use color for component identification.
  
  
• 
  Select proper gauge wire in accordance with run lists.
  
  
• 
  Perform cabling and harnessing.
  
  
• 
  Use soldering irons, pliers, cutters of various types, wire strippers and other standard wiring and assembly tools in subassembly and final assembly procedures.
  
  
• 
  Perform continuity checks and rework.
  
  
• 
  Train and assist lower-level assemblers.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a positive work environment by professional and courteous conduct and communications with others, including supervisors, co-workers, clients, and vendors.
  
  
  Qualifications
  

• 
  
• 
  High School Diploma and 2 years' technical school or military related experience or equivalent preferred
  
  
• 
  3+ years' electronic assembly and wiring experience
  
  
• 
  Microsoft Office proficiency
