This role may be perfect for you!Our client, an international filtration company, is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Mechanic/Electromechanical Technician who will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of facility production machinery. They will report into the Maintenance Manager. This company has multiple sites here in Connecticut and is growing!Responsibilities:

  • Install facility production machinery
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility production machinery
  • Troubleshoot and repair facility production machinery
  • Complete daily maintenance and repair logs
  • Communicate with operators from other shifts
  • Maintain and secure work tools
  • Clean and maintain work area
  • Turn off and lockout equipment when not in use
  • Other duties as assigned by Manufacturing and Maintenance Lead
  • Provide on-the-job training to new employeesShift:Monday - Friday6:30am to 3pmQualifications:
    • Advanced skills Required
    • PLC programming strongly preferred
    • Any Multimeter experience is perfect
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
    • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
    • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
    • High school diploma or equivalentWhat types of machines will the techs be supporting?:
      • Ultrasonic welders, spin welders, laser markers, then a wide range of custom assembly machines. The custom machines are mostly pneumatic, with a great number of non-contact sensors. Some have belt systems, some have rotary tables, some have pressure decay leak testers, some have heating elements, some have cutting edges. It's a mixed bag.English vs. Spanish language requirements:
        • The current maintenance team doesn't speak a word of Spanish, so decent English will be required for training. It's extremely difficult to pantomime rebuilding a morot or tracing a wire harness. Pay:Based on experience, $20 - $30 per hour#ZR
