** Kx Technologies LLC**** Inventory Control Specialist**West Haven, CT 06516 ***Job Summary:***Performs clerical shipping and receiving functions, transacts inventory movement into the ERP system, and assists with inventory tracking, planning, and counting as needed. Communicates issues and concerns with the overall operations team, acting as a key support person for the purchasing, production, and quality teams. KX Technologies is part of Marmon Water Inc., one of eleven sectors of Marmon Holding, Inc (www.marmon.com) and a global leader in water treatment.** ***Job Requirements:**** Perform data entry into the companys ERP system * Read and understand purchase orders * Coordinate with receiving and quality assurance to properly receive and transact incoming raw material * Coordinate with the shipping and logistics team to properly manage all relevant paperwork and transactions * Collaborate with the production team to transact material movement in a timely manner * Keep track of inventory levels of select items, to alert purchasing when stock levels fall below pre-determined quantities * Perform physical counts of inventory items daily, to ensure accurate stock counts * Review scrap tickets for abnormalities, and report any concerns to management * Assist the warehouse team with physical shipping and receiving as required * Work and communicate well in a team environment, with both direct production personnel and managers * Able to operate with minimal oversight Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager ***Technical Skill Requirements:**** Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time * Computer literacy * Familiarity with Microsoft Excel a plus ***Education Requirements:**** High school diploma or equivalent + Ability to read and write in English for purposes of filling out various production documentation + Basic math skills
