supports Residential engineering design and development by
assisting the engineering team and performing product development
evaluations. Responsibilities:
- Assists with assembling prototypes and application
fixtures.
- Performs development testing as directed and supervised by
engineering staff.
- Perform Engineering Specification testing in accordance with
documented internal procedures.
- Assist engineers in troubleshooting, diagnosis, and replication
of product failures
- Participates in maintenance of the engineering lab including
equipment, materials and component inventory.
- Prepare documentation and kit of electronic components for
prototype build activityQualifications:Education & Experience:
- A minimum of an AS degree in electronics or electrical
engineering technology
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a product development
environment
- Experience with electronics lab equipment
- Experience troubleshooting electronics assemblies Skills &
Abilities:
- Capable of soldering and rework of electronic assemblies
including all type of SMT components.
- Able to operate lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power
supplies, frequency generators, network analyzers.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiar with Schematic Capture and PCB layout. Altium
experience is a plus.
- Must be able to read and interpret schematics and
specifications.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with
all levels of management.
- Capable of creating technical / procedural documentation
Travel:
- Up to 3% Education & Experience:

environment
