Economic Empowerment, the Manager of Partnerships will lead
Restore’s efforts to provide job opportunities to survivors of
trafficking by establishing and managing strategic business
partners. This role is primarily responsible for building
partnerships with businesses, worker cooperatives, and vocational
training programs to provide survivors with safe, sustainable, and
restorative work opportunities. The ideal candidate will have
experience in sales and new-business partner development to acquire
business partners across diverse sectors rapidly. About Restore NYC

Position The Manager of Partnerships will lead Restore’s efforts to
provide job opportunities to survivors of trafficking by
establishing and managing strategic business partners. They will
collaborate and iterate on Restore’s overall job placement
strategy. This role is primarily responsible for building
partnerships with businesses, worker cooperatives, and vocational
training programs that can provide survivors with work
opportunities that are safe, sustainable, and restorative. This
includes supervising the Job Placement Specialist, identifying and
obtaining new business partners and job opportunities, onboarding
new business partners, and maintaining the relationships of current
business partners. Specific Responsibilities Leadership &
Supervision Oversee and lead the program’s direct hire job
placement service to ensure efficient, timely, and effective
service delivery to participants. Supervise and coordinate job
placement and retention activities of the Job Placement Specialist.
Contribute to the development and execution of Restore’s
partnership strategy in collaboration with the Director.
Partnership Development & Management Identify and target potential
partnership opportunities by conducting market research, analyzing
industry trends, and assessing partnership value. Develop and
execute a strategy to acquire and retain 25-50 new business and
vocational training partners in New York City who will actively
engage survivors in fulfilling jobs in a safe environment and pay a
living wage. Maintain lead-generation and business-partner
information, and conduct periodic data quality checks. Cultivate
relationships with key stakeholders, such as businesses, worker
cooperatives, and vocational training programs, through networking,
attending industry events, cold calling, and engaging in ongoing
communication to establish and maintain strong partnerships.
Relationship Maintenance & Communication Continuously nurture
existing partnerships by engaging in ongoing communication,
addressing issues or concerns, and identifying opportunities for
growth and further collaboration. Onboard new business partners to
ensure they have thorough knowledge and understanding of business
partner expectations, trauma-informed work practices, and execute
service and confidentiality agreements. Collaborate with partners
to uphold the terms of the confidentiality agreement and
effectively advocate and negotiate for livable wages and
sustainable employment opportunities for survivors. Help partners
understand the value of a partnership with Restore. Support the
Director and represent Restore when needed at internal and external
networking events, economic-empowerment related meetings,
development events, and committees. Experience Degree and
Experience Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of sales or
corporate partnership management experience OR 7 years of relevant
experience managing corporate partnerships Database management
experience Salesforce, CRMs etc Requirements Affirm the Nicene
Creed and attend a Christian church Experienced in leading all
aspects of a sales process, including prospecting, lead nurturing,
sales pipeline tracking, closing, onboarding, and relationship
management. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate key
messages, prioritize, negotiate, and resolve conflict at all
management levels when engaging clients and colleagues.
Demonstrated ability to proactively solve problems, deliver
commitments, take initiative, and develop plans in ambiguous
situations, exhibiting empathy, cultural humility, and attention to
detail. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and people skills with at
least 2 years of experience managing and supporting the work of
others. Preferred Requirements Has experience providing job
placement support to individuals from underserved and marginalized
communities. Compensation At Restore, we believe in taking care of
