Now Hiring: Director of Event Technology (DET) Salary: $87,500 -
$97,500 sales commission opportunity We are looking for an
experienced Director of Event Technology (DET) to lead audiovisual
operations at one of our premier properties. If you have a passion
for AV technology, leadership, and business development, we want to
hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Oversee all in-house AV
operations and personnel, ensuring seamless execution of events.
Drive new business opportunities within the venue by prospecting,
soliciting RFPs, and providing competitive quotes. Manage budgets,
expenses, and scheduling for all AV operations. Oversee equipment
inventory, including sub-rental sourcing and negotiations. Foster
strong relationships with clients, hotel management, event
planners, and staff. Provide regular progress reports and updates
to AV Workshop management. Qualifications: 5 years of AV management
experience in a hospitality-related setting (hotels,
conference/convention centers, or meeting facilities). 3-5 years of
sales experience, preferably in the AV industry. Extensive
knowledge of AV technology, understanding the equipment you sell is
critical. Strong computer and software skills; ability to navigate
